Welcome to Trabear. These terms govern your use of trabear.myshopify.com and any purchase you make from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who we are

Trabear is a curated vintage and secondhand clothing store operated from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You can reach us anytime at hello@trabear.com.

2. Our products

Everything we sell is pre-owned unless clearly stated otherwise. Items are sold as described in each listing, including all measurements, condition notes, and photos. Signs of wear consistent with an item's age are normal for vintage goods and are not considered defects. Each item is unique and only one is available, so an order is only confirmed once payment is completed — adding an item to your cart does not reserve it.

3. Pricing and payment

Prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, change prices, or withdraw a listing at any time before an order is accepted. If we cancel an order because of a pricing error, you'll receive a full refund. Payment is processed securely through Shopify's payment providers; we never see or store your full card details.

4. Orders, shipping, and returns

Shipping timelines and costs are described in our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds are handled under our Return & Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.

5. Authenticity

We inspect designer pieces carefully and describe brands, labels, and markings in good faith based on what we can verify. If an item is ever confirmed by a reputable authentication service to be counterfeit, we'll take it back for a full refund — no time limit.

6. Intellectual property

The Trabear name, bear artwork, and all site content (photos, descriptions, graphics) belong to us. Third-party brand names appear only to accurately describe secondhand goods and imply no affiliation with or endorsement by those brands. Please don't reuse our photos or copy without permission.

7. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site — no attempts to interfere with its operation, place fraudulent orders, or use bots to purchase items. We may cancel orders or refuse service where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law, including the Ontario Consumer Protection Act.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on the site at the time of your order applies to that order.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Ontario.
